Software Configuration Release Engineer

This is a full-time position requiring physical presence in our Naperville headquarters.

Job Requirements: 

The Software Configuration Release Engineer is a multi-faceted role.  The main responsibilities include building Windows application installer using InstallShield Studio and helping customers resolve installation or configuration related issues. The position will be heavily involved in our quarterly data product release process.  This position may also be involved in software development. The Software Configuration Release Engineer will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work independently and as a team member. The candidate must be capable of multi-tasking and working on several projects simultaneously.

Job Qualifications:

  • Entry level Computer Programming background or Software configuration release background.
  • Knowledge of InstallShield Studio or willingness to learn InstallShield.
  • Knowledge of C#, VB.Net or C/C++.
  • Familiar with software development cycle.
  • Prior experience with SQL server, Access Database.
  • Knowledge of SQL statement.
  • Work experience with InstallShield is preferred.

This position requires a bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field plus one year of work experience in programming or configuration management. The candidate must be quick learner and willing to learn new technology.
