The experienced C# Developer position is a multi-faceted role that includes designing, developing, unit-testing and implementing healthcare benefits processing systems using both healthcare benefits domain knowledge and programing skills. The C# Developer will work in a fast-paced team environment but must also be able to work independently.
The candidate also must be capable of multi-tasking and may be called upon to work on several projects simultaneously. The candidate must learn quickly and be willing to learn new technologies.
Experience and qualifications:
- Five (5) plus years experience in desktop software development using .Net C#.
- Five (5) plus years experience in web development using .Net and JavaScript.
- Three (3) plus years experience in Java development.
- Demonstrable experience with both waterfall and agile software development cycles.
- Extensive use of design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
- Minimum three (3) years experience of SQL development with SQLite, Postgres, MS Access, SQL Server and/or Oracle DBMS and writing and testing stored procedures and functions.
- Demonstrable experience in database normalization.
- Experience with healthcare benefits terminology is a plus.
- Experience with automated deployments is a plus.
- Experience with Python is required. Experience with AI and using LLMs with custom datasets with the help of RAG and harnesses in healthcare field is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field is required; Masters is preferred.
