Context 4 Healthcare Announces Advanced Bill Editing Feature for CodeLink Pro
Context4 Healthcare is excited to announce a powerful new enhancement that has been added to CodeLink® Pro beginning with your Second Quarter 2019 update. This enhancement enables CodeLink customers to utilize parts of Context’s industry-leading Payment Integrity platform to determine if the customer’s bill coding will violate many standard payment integrity edits used by payers. This enhancement is part of Context’s ongoing efforts to continue to provide our customers with an industry-leading solution.
Advanced Bill Editing
CodeLink® Pro now has a new tab titled “Bill Editing”. Upon entering standard service and diagnosis information, CodeLink® Pro will access Context’s Payment Integrity Solution to alert you to any conflicts pertaining to:
- CCI and MUE violations for Medicare and Medicaid
- Procedure/Diagnosis mismatch using Context’s proprietary crosswalk
- Inappropriate modifiers
- Medical necessity concerns
- Conflicts between code, patient age/gender, and date of service
- LCD/NCD compliance with all local and national coverage guidelines
The feature uses Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology so that you are using the most up-todate rule set for the service dates on the bills. As a result, your CodeLink® Pro installation will require that your workstation has access to the internet in order for CodeLink® Pro to interact with Context’s Payment Integrity solution.
Current CodeLink® Pro customers receive this new feature starting with version 3.3.6982.29341 with a build date of 2/12/2019. This can be found in the upper left hand corner of the CodeLink® Pro screen.
